What To Expect

We're a community of passionate, loving people who believe that church should be fun, and that life with God is full of adventure. None of us are perfect, and we don't expect you to be, either. We like good music and know God likes it, too. We believe the Bible is fully relevant to our daily lives, so the messages we preach don't flinch at bringing the truth in an engaging way, while also providing practical steps to walk it out in real life.

Preaching

Our preaching team is committed to communicating the Word of God in a way that is accurate, engaging, and relevant to your daily life. Whether you've been walking with the Lord for forty years or it's your first time in church, there's something for you at Victory Faith. Sermons usually last about 30-40 minutes.

Worship

God's presence is one of our greatest values, so we love to take our time with worship. Our goal is to create an atmosphere where our hearts are opened to the Lord and His work in our lives. Our music is contemporary, and not only do we like it—we tend to think God likes it, too, because He keeps showing up.

Kids

Victory Kids is where your children can experience safe, age-appropriate environments so they can learn about the Bible in fun and creative ways.

YOUR FIRST VISIT
We recommend arriving about 15min before service starts your first time so you have plenty of time to complete the check-in process:

  • Our team will help you find the kids check-in area where our VK volunteers will guide you through the process.
  • You’ll need to enter basic information for each child, as well as any medical or allergy information.
  • Each child is given a sticker with their name, an assigned number, and allergy information printed on it, as well as any special instructions you need to leave for the teachers.
  • You will be given a receipt which you’ll keep with you to pick your children up after service.

SAFETY & SECURITY
The safety and security of your child is our top priority. Because of this, we’ll check your pick-up receipt to make sure the number matches your child’s tag before we dismiss them. Only volunteers who have had background checks are allowed in the classrooms.

WHAT IF MY CHILD NEEDS ME DURING SERVICE?
When you check your children in, you will leave your cell number so our team can text you right away if you’re needed for any reason.

MOM’S LOUNGE
For any mother who needs some privacy with their young ones, there is a mom’s lounge where you can take care of your baby.

EMPOWERED PLAYGROUD
Our indoor playground is open before and after services as well as throughout the week! Check out victoryfaith.org/play for the weekday info and schedule.

Frequently Asked Questions

WHERE DO I PARK?
When you arrive for your first visit, turn on your car’s flashers and our parking team will direct you to reserved parking. Just follow their instructions.

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE?
For your first visit, we recommend arriving at least 10min before service starts, or 15min if you have kids to check in—or even earlier if you want to enjoy some of Spokane’s best coffee from our cafe! When you arrive, stop by our Connections table so we can say hi—we have a little gift for your first visit!

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Clothes. :-) But really, we want you to feel comfortable. It's not uncommon to see people wearing jeans and a casual shirt (or shorts, sandals, and a tee shirt in summer), while others still like to put on their "Sunday best."

DO I NEED TO PUT MONEY IN THE OFFERING?
While you're welcome to donate, we don't expect a first-time guest to put money in the offering. You will hear a brief teaching about giving, but there's absolutely no pressure to donate. If you do choose to give, you have the option to give by check or cash at our main services or online.

WHY IS THERE A POLICE OFFICER OUT FRONT?
Safety is our top priority when we hold a public meeting, so we hire an off-duty law enforcement officer to be present whenever we hold a main service.
