Q: What is a Life Group?
A. Life Groups are essential to building community and growing in your relationship with God and others! Life Groups at Victory Faith are not based on specific hobbies or interests, but are focused on a structure of book and Bible studies, building community and doing life together. They meet weekly in homes all around the Spokane area from September to June.
Q: How do I join a Life Group?
A. Click here to see a variety of open Life Groups. Use the filters to look for a Life Group close to where you live!
Q: What do you do in a Life Group?
A. Every Life Group takes time to informally connect each week by spending time together and chatting about their week over snacks and refreshments. We also use RightNow Media to go through book and Bible studies each week to grow closer to God and each other and take time to pray over one another's needs. Life Groups are the way we build deep and authentic relationships.
Q: Is it okay to "shop around" for a Life Group?
A. Absolutely! It’s understandable to want to find people you feel comfortable opening up to and developing friendships with. That being said, if you’ve joined a Life Group and aren’t sure if it’s the right fit for you, don’t give up. Keep in mind that there’s no such thing as a perfect Life Group because there are no perfect people. Remember to have grace and patience during the process. If it’s clear that this group isn’t the best fit for you, though, give another group a try!

A: Don't worry - You don’t need to have all the answers or a degree in theology! We have lots of great resources to make leading a group as easy as possible, including training, conversation starters for your group, content to go through, tips for new leaders, and resources to help you all along the way. You’ll also be assigned to a Life Group Coordinator who will be there to support you with prayer, resources, and encouragement whenever you need.
Q: What will we talk about? What curriculum will we use?
A. We have an incredible resource for you called RightNow Media! It is an online library full of book and Bible studies you can do with your group.
Q: Where would we meet?
A. The most obvious choice is to invite people to meet at your home! If it’s not possible to meet at your home, see if someone you know would like to host the Life Group in their home, while you lead. Some people were born to host and would be more than happy to welcome your life group!
